I like the Early One Morning piece as well. A friend of mine can order music through university interlibrary loan, so I'm taking advantage of that to fill some Cyril Scott gaps.

I've thought it might be worth flagging up Shuwen Zhang's new work,
Variations on a Theme by Mozart for 2 Pianos, which will soon be on IMSLP.
(Personally, I can't wait to find out which theme he's used and to see the score.)
The composer himself hasn't previously been mentioned on Pianophilia,
although he does have an impressive portfolio of works on IMSLP.

Very potential composer, I have listened to his piano sonatas, hints of Chinese tunes written in a Romantic idiom.
Sharing is caring:)

Yes indeed, he has potential. In roughly the same area, IMSLP
also has Shuang Liang's Sonata for 2 Pianos in B flat Op1, based
on 3 fragments by Mozart. This quite long work is also on YouTube.
Both Zhang and Liang were born in 1991.

I located a score of Bairstow's Variations on an Original Theme (two pianos/four hands) and uploaded it to IMSLP, should anyone wish to give it a try. It looks very enticing!

cheers,
Daniel

Could someone suggest me very easy pieces for 2 pianos or 4 hands (at least with one easy part) ?
Thanks
