Music by Australian Composers
This is a continuation of my presvious thread on this topic from the old PP board.
Now I realise the definition of 'Australian' (or any other nationality for that matter) can be a bit hazy since Benjamin, Grainger, Williamson etc although born in Australia lived and worked overseas for most of their lives, but this thread can be used for relevant works from all composers born in or else having spent significant time in Australia - yes, even William Vincent Wallace.
I'm reposting two pieces by Arthur Benjamin I play quite frequently. The Forest Peace piece is very peaceful, seriously
Regards
Fred

No, I certainly don't - I take it it's not in the ANL?Biljana wrote:Clutsam H.G. Australian Composer

No , the rest of etudes are not posted on ANL but I would very much like to have them. Try nr. 12 and nr.14 (my favourite).
Enjoy

Clutsam? What a bizarre name! As my mother would say "what a name to go to bed with!"
This Chopin-derived piece found on my HD:

I would rather have that than Reginald Goss-Custardrob wrote:Clutsam? What a bizarre name! As my mother would say "what a name to go to bed with!"
