I hope that is a library reference, because I think it would be very depressing to endure life with a first name like Slub !

These Berger Etudes are just the kind of studies that I like so very much. They give quite a bit of attention to the left hand which I am happy to see. I've got way too many other etudes which just involve florid passages in the right hand. There are some very interesting technical features in this set for both hands.

A most welcome etude collection.

Early work of a Jewish-German composer who -
after having made the acquaintance of German concentration camps -
could leave Germany for China and later the USA.

nms (alfor-edited)

Please applaud the people from Munich, who are doing an excellent job!

Fraenkel gives us what appear to be 3 musical character sketches, one even being his mother. I detect a Jewish folk music influence in these pleasant little pieces.

Thanks, Alfred.

Thanks to the link provided by Promusician for the Berlin University Library of Arts, here are a few old scores that we might have not and that are absent from IMSLP so far:

Hello! How are you all?

I would like to know if there’s anyone who can share Gurlitt's op. 82.

Yes:

(Sounds very much like a sampled „virtual“ recording, though!!!)
