(Original orchestral version can be found on imslp, but I found this transcription for 4 hands.)
Great findings Emil! Many thanks for your important contributions!

I am glad to share some very rare items with you. An edition of only 300 pieces!
Thank you very much for all the Bach transcriptions in this community.

If someone could contribute the Bach-Drozdov Prelude G minor BWV 535. This would be perfect!

Wow...!
Thank you for this rare score in great quality!
I never thought about Drozdov's Transcription of Bach although I posted some of his original works.

Thanks again.

Many thanks for this. The original is actually by Johann Caspar Vogler, not JSB. An edition of the organ original can be found on page 136 of Choralvorspiele alter Meister as edited by Karl Straube available at Sibley/RSL/Imslp. Vogler (1696 - 1763) was a student of Bach. This chorale seems to be an homage to (if not cribbing of) his teacher's O Mensch, bewein dein Sünde gross from the Orgelbüchlein.

Dear all,

does someone know about transcriptions of Bach's pieces for lute (or Lautenwerck?) BWV 995-1000?

On a CD by Angelika Nebel I heard a transcription of BWV 997 (Lute partita in c minor) by Robert Franz (1815-1892) which I thought sounded very interesting. However, I could not find it anywhere so far; it's also not on IMSLP.

Anyone could help with information or scans?

All the best,
