Many thanks to Caprotti and Alfor for the extra Marmontel scores.
These are turning out to be very interesting finds.
Peter.

Dear all,

Please find below a link to a clear PDF scan of Alkan's Scherzo Focoso - courtesy of the University of Michigan - for perusal at your leisure.
I wasn't asked not to share it, so here it is for everyone's benefit. :D

Anyone knows the music of Louis Abbiate? Just picked up two LPs on Calliope issued in late 70s but so far this name is completely under the radar. Only one sonata (out of 8) and 3 short works are in still in print.

A score to de-busy:

fully fingered and with complete pedal marks (rather sparse, probably in the true French tradition):

Thanks alfor for the lemoine edition. Does anyone know that if the Durand edition of Debussy complete works is copyrighted?
Sharing is caring:)

Sparcely pedaled indeed compared to the PWM edition, and for the pedal marks alone a very worthwhile addition, and I have never seen anything like this before. Looks like I'll be putting the PWM edition aside for a while and see how these markings work out.

Thanks for a very interesting edition, Alfred.
