Here are the preludes. (NMS)

Many thanks for these I had a library trip planned for these but this will save me a few hours of combined commuting and scanning for folks. I should have those short pieces in a few weeks, I am maxed out on owned items at the moment but will grab them soon.

If anyone has any info on the elegy or any other of his piano works, would really appreciate any additional insights.
It looks like the Elegy is in autograph only, if I read the entry on the website correctly. The second piano concerto is readily available here:

as is a book of remembrances of the composer in Russian.

Hello, Dear Members!

Does anyone know about Boris Sabaneyev's Reverie, Op.2 For Piano?

Thank you.

Have been looking for this for a number of years....but just checked, and a copy may be available through the Berlin State Library. A colleague and myself do have a mega list in with Berlin and I believe that this work is included on our list. However, Berlin can take many months to complete orders, so hopefully it could appear here at some stage.

many thanks for the Ukranian piano works link!

I hope folks can perhaps help a little with the translation, I am including a rough 'google-ified' part but welcome revisions for a more accurate table of contents of composers and titles, also there is a name on the inside cover that seems to be an editor but it may be also the arranger as it seems to state 'version by' so perhaps he did all the transcribing and arranging?
Russian - Tango for Piano Russian edition Noty Танго для фортепиано.pdf
редактор-составитель А. Полонский
Russian - Tango for Piano Russian edition Noty Танго для фортепиано.docx
towards the end:
Number number 2, 5, 6, 7, 8, 11, 12, 13, 14, 16, 17, 19, 21, 22, 23 - Treatment A. Polonsky.
Number number 1, 3, 4, 9, 20 - Transcription A. Polonsky. Number 18-B treatment Lyudvikovsky

not too sure what they mean by the difference in Transcription vs. Treatment? Does that mean the Transcriptions were already in Tango form and Polonsky just set them for piano solo? and The others may or may not have been in piano solo form and Lyudvikovsky simply did the Tango versions and Polonsky just took those and then set to piano? More than a little confusing, but it's a great album. I'm learning the first as a complete play through of the book is a goal of mine at the moment, I have always liked that Babajanian melody.

Bonus points for anyone that can give us the meaning of the handwriting :)

I can't understand the handwriting at all, but here is my 'table of contents'. It would appear that the editors 'processed' (обработка) most of the works and the others (1,3,4,9, and 20) are 'transposed'. Pretty much all of the composers are of the 'popular' or 'light' variety of Soviet musicians who wrote lots of film music, popular songs, and the like. We've seen some names, like Tsfasman's, in other similar volumes. I've mostly seen these names in volumes of popular piano/accordion-accompanied songs:

Tangoes, for piano ('Music for Leisure' series) (1983) (edited and compiled by A. Polonsky)

Many thanks, Jim for the Karabyts Preludes. I find these to be interesting and original. Alas, that this composer lived only to age 57.

Does there exist an edition of the Kosenko Piano Sonata No.1 other than the copy from nlib.org.ua (posted here and on IMSLP)? I ask this because in following the recording from Youtube I find a number of minor differences as well as some additions to and omissions from that score. Many thanks.
