Thanks especially for the preludes (Malc, please do not take it for arrogance, but in due course I will be able to provide a decent scan of these. BTW anybody interested in a violin/piano sonata by Karaev?)

Fascinating jazzy flair with prelude XXIII:

Thank you kind folk....nice to be back labouring over my scanner. And next:

Elmira Mirza kyzy Nazirova. Born 1928, Baku. Composer and pianist. Graduated as a pianist (1950) and as a composer (1954) from the Azerbaijan Conservatoire, where she studied with Zeidman. Joined the piano faculty of this institution in 1951. Currently more reknown for her friendship with Shostakovich and the inspiration for his 10th symphony than for her own music and achievements ! Piano works include:

Twelve Preludes (1944)
Five Preludes [1st set] (1948)
Four Etudes (1953)
Nazirova E - Four Etudes.pdf
Piano Concerto No. 1 (1954)

Azerbaijan Folk Songs [1st set] (1955)
Suite on Albanian Folk Themes [collaboration with Amirov] – Two Pianos (1955)
Concerto No. 2 for Piano & Orchestra on Arabian themes [collaboration with Amirov] (1957 rev. 1976) – arr. Two Pianos

I have posted two works: the Four Etudes from 1953 and the more recent Eight Pieces for Children from 1973 [unfortunately the 4th piece was severely damaged so is not included in this scan].
