Seconded! And such lovely hires scans. The variety of pieces is really quite interesting--from the simpler Variations to the much more complex 1st Sonata.

Thanks for posting!

Dear fleubis, dear Peter,

you are welcome!

I was just informed by member Roncesvalles that all Stanchinsky pieces have already been available separately. But you nevertheless may appreciate to have the complete volume in alfor scan quality.

P.S. Does anybody know the contents of the other volumes in this series (Stanchinsky is volume 9!)?
Best regards, Alfor S. Cans

Alfor, many thanks for the excellent Stanchinsky album. I do hold an original copy of this book and fully appreciate the difficulty in scanning this volume. It wll be good to have an electronic version for future reference.

Many thanks again.

Thank you very much indeed for the Stanchinsky volume C. I am surprised by the variety of his conceptions all of which hold interest, and I especially like the 5th Sketch. And it sure is great to have this in a hires Alfor scan, too...so easy to read.

Greatly appreciate your hard work in bringing Stanchinsky to light.

To fleubis, with compliments:

(compare my recent audio posting)

two gems of intimate (slightly elegiac) late-romantic austrian piano music -
stylistically in a line with Joseph Marx and Egon Kornauth.

Many thanks for these--especially the Romanze. After listening to the recording I was a little surprised to see it written in the key of A :)
