Performances of Poulenc's piano music ARE unreasonably rare for some reason but his chamber music is quite popular. The very first piece of Poulenc I learned, and still one of my favorites, is the little piece "Pastourelle" which really captivated me after hearing Rubinstein perform it--check it out on YouTube. Great fun to play the Impromptu's again.
I thought that his Trois Mouvements Perpetuels No1 was incredibly popular.

I love Poulenc's 1st Nocturne in C major. It was one of the grade 8 pieces around 10 years ago.

Alfor, today I must wax enthusiastic on the Brassin transcriptions of Scarlatti. That first piece is one I got to perform in concert some decades ago, but in the Scarlatti original. Wurmser little pieces are nice diversions and I note in the second one, an appearance of the famous "cross-relation" and explicitly pointed out in the score, too! Thanks for posting these.

I am glad to see some enthusiasm for Poulenc here in Pianophilia, a composer whose works will never go out of style
