Given an interest in the Keyboard area in the piano music of Charles-Marie Widor, here is a suite for flute and piano.

Walter: What a precious link even for us pianophiliacs - thank you! I found a Czerny 6H work after some seconds ...

Having been long time abstinent from PPh for private reasons, today I'd like to ask for help: Platti's 6 Flute Sonatas op.3 are as an old 18th century manuscript available from http://imslp.org/wiki/6_Sonatas_for_Flu ... Benedetto).

The big BUT: The continuo is not practicable for the flute/piano duo (and upcoming Platti friends) I try to help out here (neither - unfortunately - for myself ...).

Anybody with a new(er) edition? Thanks a lot to her/him in advance.

Dear old (excuse me, please ...) Caprotti, who else?! Thanks to him for the precious hint!

And Busoni's pupil Philipp Jarnach seems to have transcribed two sonatas, maybe the keyboard part, see https://urresearch.rochester.edu/instit ... temId=5925 - in my country "The version of this item is restricted".

Thanks so much for this Alain - a too-neglected figure outside the organ loft!
