The latter of these composers wrote a lot of interesting concertos, including ones for folk instruments like the bayan and the gidzhak (a bowed string instrument played in Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, and Tajikistan). He's also credited with composing an opera called Flaming Hearts in 1974 that tells of Turkmen village life during the period of collectivization.

Boiko's Cypriot Sketches were included in the Boiko Album for Children which I post a year or two back. Duly posted again.

There's not much listed in Worldcat for this composer...a few pedagogical texts and this musical score:
