Unfortunately Nos. 1-5 are still in print published by Chesters - although most of the pieces have been posted on Pianophilia over the past few years (they are much easier pieces covering grades 1-5). No. 6 is in print but often hard to find, so I was happy to allow this posting as an example of the whole series.

my search for this series was unsuccessful!
I could not find any evidence neither on
the Chester/Novello/Music Sales website, nor through various retailers
(musicroom.com, boosey.com, etc.).

Books 1 to 4 are available through IMSLP.

I would like to buy a copy of book 5, if you could tell where I can get it.

P.S. You know that I do belong to those „dinosaurs” who actually are still
buying printed scores.
This series was first published in 1917, so I am not quite sure whether it is still under copyright*
- despite the fact that it may be in print.
*The individual copyrights - if still existing - by the composers of this series are anyway held by various publishers who generally do not see a chance to make any money with it, so the works will remain unpublished (e.g. Feinberg and many others!).

Hi Alfor

My apologies, you are correct, although strange as I only brought the whole series about 18 months ago (like you I do buy a lot of scores), but they are no longer appear to be available to purchase. As you said Vol. 1-4 are available on IMSLP, and I have a scan of Vol. 5 which I will locate and share.

Yes, most of the composers in the series are now out of copyright, although the six volumes were in print until very recently by Chester.

Sorry, can not seem to locate my copy of Vol. 5 from the Educational Series of Russian Music.........hopefully may turn up as I work through my remaining photocopies of Russian scores.

Konstantin Antipov (1859 - ?) - it is a great shame that most of the Antipov scores currently being circulated on IMSLP and similar sites are rather poor. I had a photopcopy of the Op 2 Waltzes, which is a little better than the copy on IMSLP, so duly shared with you all.

Here are two pieces by Vladimir Sokalsky (24 April 1863 — 1919) extracted from collections that Sibley created. His Elegy, Op.8 for cello and piano appears on IMSLP. Has anything else by this composer ever appeared? Thanks.
