P.S. Apart from the Dale op. 1 there are a couple of British piano sonatas which can be recommended for concert use:

Ireland (the two editions differ - as far as I could detect - only in an added sixth in the final chord of the first mvt.)

Lambert (an appealing mixture of Ravel and Jazz patterns)
