Videos from Les Pianistes in Hong Kong

Post by phikfy »

"Les Pianistes" is an ardent group of Hong Kong amateur pianists who always like to present non-mainstream piano music in our live concerts, founded in 2012. All of our videos are either home-made or taped in our own concerts. Needless to say, they are not professional at all regarding both the video and the music quality. But it's the enthusiasm that we are to share and it will be our honour if we have played something that is of any interest to all connoisseurs here in PP. Here are some of our videos. Moderators can remove any if they find the copyright dubious. From my part, I have already tried to make the composers aware of the existence of the videos in which their music is featured. Thank you!

Well done! I particularly like the two selections above - two of my favourite works for two pianos, four hands.

Thanks to Jim Faston for this wonderful score.

This was recorded on the same day that this rare score was unearthed. Not a successful playing indeed as this is just a sloppy try. But the music itself and it's otherworldly beauty deserves a share.

The pianist Alexis Weissenberg passed away on 8th Jan last year. To pay tribute to him, I have notated his Vous qui passez sans me voir and recorded it.
