I have no idea how much interest there might be in this and won't be offended if this thread is removed.
I have taught at Arizona State University for many years and have seen it grow into one of the most important music faculties on the planet. The process of posting the university library's live recording archive online has begun. The cataloguing is very raw but I am glad it is underway. Some of my recordings from live performances at ASU have already been posted online. You can listen to a few of them at
http://knet.asu.edu/research/?getObject=asulib:101068
I am beginning to put a few mp3 files on my website at
http://waltercosand.com/CosandScores/Co ... ecordings/
If any of you collaborators, composers (or publishers) object please just email me and I will take files down immediately. There is a button on my site for contacting me.
Today I posted:
the Scherzo from the Mendelssohn Octet as arranged by me and performed on a "monster concert" by Rayna Barroll-Aschaffenburg, myself, Caio Pagano and Hamilton Tescarollo. What an unlikely quartet that was! We played on three pianos. The performance got better as it progressed.
Also:
Rodney Rogers’ eight-minute ‘a box full of stars’ suggested by a line in Faulkner-as performed in October 2004,
Messiaen Exotic Birds from 2003 with Gary Hill conducting the ASU Chamber Winds,
and a Liszt Study Number 10 from an all-Liszt program in which I participated.
I am hoping to get at least the ten Beethoven violin sonatas with Borivoj Martinic-Jercic on my site soon! We played a great deal of the violin repertoire on the ASU stages during the last quarter-century.

There are more live recordings on the site now, including Medtner's Second Improvisation, George Perle's Toccata and Elliott Carter's piano sonata. Have not had time to put much there but more is coming.
