Music Shops around the world revisited

Hi everyone,
I took the liberty of writing down
the "Music Shops around the World"
names and places so many of you posted
in the thread of the old forum.

I will update this list periodically,
e.g. when I've visited all the Potsdam Antiquaries -
who knows if they've got fine music yet...
The same thing with Berlin.
So better not going there yet :D

Update: wrote down Australia as well, thanks to davida.

Sorry, i am not too sure where to post this.

I just arrived at London, and will be here for one year.

I would like to know, where in london, do people buy their (Classical) music scores.

Thank you very much.
ChoonWee

MOD EDIT: I moved the post here, whereit suits better.
If you have a look at the list in the post above you will find Archive Books and Travis&Emery as the two main locations to buy second hand scores (I bought a lot there on my trips to London). The Londoners in this community certainly will happily give you more addresses of "normal" sheet music dealers.

I've been there some 11 months ago - wonderful town, but the only shop in question near to the opera (?) was closed at that thime.

In autumn 2010 I was trusted by Mr. Lauermann's shop on the top of Doblinger/Vienna - tons of unseen musical jewellery. During a whole day, I managed to look through one and a half of more than 12 tall, tall but completely unarchived shelves (every third score is Czerny's op. 299). Anyway, our protests after closing the former Doblinger "Antiquariat" worked well, and Mr. L. does a good job on his own risk now.

BR 3.000 km from home - I wanted to inform isokani after his PM.

Dear all after too much time,

visiting Washington D. C. for business, I'd like to ask you if you have any concrete hint for shops here - also actual CDs and sheet music. Thank you so much in advance!

Hello everyone,

I now can add a second hand bookstore called "KOK" to the list of Amsterdam shops.
In first floor there is a box with sheet music (so she told me as I did not have time to go through it yet).
It is in "Nieuwe Hoogstraat", Nr. I have forgotten now, but it's a big store, so you can't miss it.
