This is to celebrate Pianophilia's recent 10th birthday (in its current form). Enjoy!

This isn't an original composition, just a reworking of Chopin's
spooky Presto finale to his 2nd. Sonata, with the interval between
the hands increased by a minor third, the key signature removed,
and the time signature simplified. Also, the double flats have gone,
together with any sharps, C flats and F flats.

Hello everybody! I hope you all spend your quarantine well, at home and - of course - at the piano ;). Because I was fed up with school work (I will hopefully graduate this year and sign in at university) and had some spare time left, I started composing and I finished an elegy, reworked my Rondo in B Minor, rearranged nearly all of my works and started composing two Sonatinas as a little exercise for my first big Sonata (sketches done - it's going to be in C Minor and very jazzy). I would like to show you an excerpt of the first Sonatina - the second movement. What are your thoughts on this?

Thank you for your time and for your feedback! Stay at home and healthy!

Thanks WN for sharing your composition. I tried to sight-read it but I am not that good at it when it is not very classical music. It seemed OK to me but if you have already made a recording, that would be nice.

Nice wistful little piece! Reminds me of Tchaik's andante, Symphony 5.

Thank you, Robin. It is much nicer when you play it than when I sightread it !

Thank you for your kind words! As you may can hear I'm not a great pianist and have a big problem with articulation, dynamics and so on - I should start taking lessons again since I haven't been continuously practicing piano for about three years now ^^. However, I'm glad you liked it. Thanks for listening!
