Re: Original Compositions
Thank you for sharing your music. I tried to sight-read it. I like the first piece very much. The second piece is pleasant too but does not sound as a barcarolle for me, more a chinese piece or a doll dance ; maybe I did not got it right!

Re: Original Compositions
Not an original composition nor a transcription, just a transposition.
Who needs 5 sharps anyway?!

Re: Original Compositions
This piece of tosh got finished at 11.28pm last night.
The LH was stuck in a groove, whilst the RH went a bit bonkers.
(Maybe it was due to the booze.)

Re: Original Compositions
With reference to Chopin's Preludes Op28, I notice that it's possible
to combine the RH of No.11 (in B major, 6/8, 27 bars, RH dominant)
with the LH of No.6 (in B minor, 3/4, 26 bars, LH dominant) to produce
a new piece that doesn't sound completely mad.
A few compromises had to be made. So the LH is changed to B major,
although the notes on the page look virtually identical, and the RH
has its triple time rhythm changed to 3/4. Also, the last bar in the
LH is silent for obvious reasons.
With these changes and by purposely disregarding a couple of
accidentals in the LH, bars 15, 16, 19 and 20 all end up identical.

Here's another load of old tosh - the result of yet another
boring Sunday morning with nothing better to do.
