from Tapper's studies Vol. 06...

a new name...?

Alexander / Alexandre / Aleksandr Tiniakov / Tiniakow / Tinyakov

http://imslp.org/wiki/Category:Tinyakov,_Aleksandr

Opus number for this Prelude may be Op. 03 or 07, but it could not be verified.

Enjoy...

Thanks for this nice find. His Etude Op.6 No.1 can be found in volume 2 of 'Modern Russian Piano Music'. Scriabinoff's Mediafire link is still active. See this post:

Great, thank you!

Interestingly, there are more supplemental pieces at the end of each part of each year at this link, than the original link. Perhaps this second link came from a later edition.

I will also work on a rough contents list to post, for reference.

This is not the same collection, isn't it?
It's the "The Music students piano course", not the "School credit piano course". And the contents are different, right? (and also lacks Volume 1-1)
This is on my "To do(wnload)" list, but it's really hard work to do it...

Thank you Pianoman. These books are similar in authors and title to those you uploaded on July 14. From a rough glance at them, the content seems largely the same. How do they differ, if you have an idea.
