Russian Piano Music in recordings

Rubinstein Etudes op. 23

I am looking for a record of these pieces played by Malcolm Binns (more interesting played than from a rival, available on CD); any ideas, where I could get them? Amazon.co.uk doesn't offer them.

thank you

Hi there,

Here is a recording of them taken off the radio sometime ago - not brilliant quality but you can at least hear them played by this imaginative pianist.
Somewhere i have a pre-recorded cassette issued by Concert Artists that coupled these with a couple of Alkan works. I see if I can dig it out. No promises though - I haven't seen it for quite a while.

What do you think of Joseph Banowetz's recordings of Rubinstein?

No sadly. I think Hyperion ought to consider doing the Catoire/Katuar with the Alexandrov - if they'd fit on a single CD. How about you suggesting to Naxos?

I did suggest it, but they don't listen to me. However, if I recorded it and offered them the master, they would take it in a heartbeat.
