A Cd with the L. Sabaneyev piano pieces until Op.13 will be available between few days: http://www.prestoclassical.co.uk/r/Genuin/GEN15380
Unfortunately the performance is overall mediocre.

I wait the Sabaneyev Cd of Jonathan!

Just listening to the master of mine before it gets sent to the factory. The big sonata is on now, fact.

It's now in the factory, so should be ready in a couple of weeks ...

wondering if I am missing something, google translate not helping much. Viktor Kosenko did some 'children's' music and pedagogy type stuff as evidenced by little ones on Yt playing. I don't recall seeing any of these pieces come up in a search. Is this part of one of those sets, does someone know the actual title or best translation? If it's not on pp, is better to make a request of it on the children's music thread or here? *(or perhaps the set of pieces this comes from if it is Viktor's work?)

right on thanks. So I assume the video is no 6 of the set? I wonder if the others are in print or come up by sharing elsewhere. Thanks again :D

An excellent-sounding recording of music by Bortkiewicz coming up from Hyperion. The recording includes some firsts.

Wonderful, more Bortkiewicz recordings! I will need to add this to my wishlist, along with the new Sabaneyev CD. I didn't realize who you are, "isokani", very cool and thank you for your amazing focus of lesser known repertoire!
