Obscure French - Piano Music

Post by naturlaut »

Just wondering how well-recorded are composers contemporary of Debussy/Ravel.
Specifically I am looking for recordings (if any) of piano works of Lucien Wurmser. Any leads?

There seems to be one single mp3 recording of a piece by Wurmser here:
http://www.amazon.com/Impromptu/dp/B001 ... 720&sr=8-1

Also, a recording of Wurmser playing Wurmser(?) in the Bibliotheque Nationale de Paris' catalogue. You could check this out?

That's all I can find at the moment - sorry to be of limited help!

Great, I will check them out. I have read through some of his music and I quite like them.

Does anybody know if there is an existing recording for Darius Milhaud Op.420 Musique Pour Lisbonne?

I'm posting this here and in the Keyboard music thread:

I'm trying to arrange for a disc of piano music by Amédée Méreaux to be recorded. The production cost is quite low, comparatively (£750), but still would need sponsorship, as I can't afford to foot the bill!
If anyone might be interested in helping to fund this, please send me a private message.

Thanks
