Okay Fred, will do in the next couple of days. They are rather nice, but I need
something very much stronger than lullabies to send me to sleep these days!

Please note: Due to major problems with my OS, the planned scan will have
to be delayed. Sorry.

Talk to Rob. His method of getting to sleep is to listen to old Philharmonia Chorus concerts. Worked like a charm on the audience too...

Regards
Fred

 Actually the Philharmonia Chorus when first formed here was more like a German Opera Chorus than anything in the British Choral Tradition. The same is true today when we are at our best, as we were in a Beethoven 9 in London (RFH) & Valldolid, and a Mahler 2 (RFH) earlier this year. I also sing with the London Philharmonic who are good but much closer to the usual British Choral tradition. We had a standing ovation for the Mahler 2 and the Beethoven 9 in Valladolid. Our next concert of Carmina Burana with two pianos and percussion will be amazingly precise and exciting, even if I don't care for the piece. Come to London and hear us. You have no equivalent in Australia, I assure you. :P

Probably not, I must admit. Coming to London is a trifle difficult for me, but at least I can get BBC Radio 3 through my iPhone...

And I've been on Radio Three a few times over the last two years - off the top of my head: Berlioz Damnation of Faust, Beethoven 9, MacMillan St John Passion, Brahms Alto Rhapsody & Liszt Faust Symphony, Myaskovsky Symphony 6.
Unaccountably the BBC didn't record our Mahler 2 with Eliahu Inbal, a pity since it was close to perfection.
