Especially since 1900, they've not been nearly as numerous as string quartets, but I've found quite a bit of great repertoire for this setting:
Marcel MIHALOVICI

Composer's bio and works list at:

We have seen a handful of works by this composer's brother David Lvov-Kompaneyets (search for 'Kompaneets' ). His bio page lists two 'string trios', but no works titled 'Divertissement', so I'm not able to offer a date for this piece.
Zinovy Lvovich KOMPANEYETS (KOMPANEETS)
Divertissement no. 3, for string trio

Another early chamber piece by Shebalin, composed a year after his first quartet (and revised later).
Vissarion Yakovlevich SHEBALIN
