Any works in classical cannon for guitar & piano that are not simply arr. of other works
there MUST be something out there!

haha nice try Fred! No but I recently met a very charming classical guitarist and we both have had very little luck in finding any substantial works that are NOT arrangements and often bad ones at that :(

The link below has about 50 excellent works by Diabelli, Giuliani, Neuland, and various others. Most of them aren't on IMSLP.
Ponce's Guitar Sonata is also a suggestion.

Thank you Sgambatiesque & Timtin:)

Many of the composers you mentioned have been useful! I came across Radames Gnattali whose music is wonderful also!

Hi:

I'm looking for a trio or string quartet (with or without piano), that includes guitar.

The idea is to start with some compositions that do not have great difficulty.

Does anybody help me with some hints?

Thank you,

ILU.
