Thanks to Daphnis, the Villa-Lobos string quartets are now available at IMSLP.

Here's the complete cycle of Vissarion Shebalin's string quartets. The first eight were published in two compilation volumes and the ninth (composed right before his passing) saw separate publication a number of years later. Shebalin was a student of Myaskovsky and Gliere, a friend of Shostakovich's, and later went on teach late-Soviet composers like Edison Denisov, Grigory Frid, and Karen Khachaturyan. If one can find it, I would highly recommend the Krasni Quartet's recordings of this cycle, a trio of discs released on Olympia and, sadly, out of print at this time.

This is not the same 'Grachev' as the Kalmykia-based composer Mikhail Oskarovich Grachev (Grachyov). The only other works I've seen by this composer are a few assorted works for bayan/accordion and some short piano works:

Vyacheslav Nikolayevich GRACHEV (GRACHYOV)
Divertissement, for string quartet

Here's a piece of Soviet film music, rearranged for quartet. This score (taken from a Soviet string quartet anthology) doesn't specify that it was taken from the film, but I've seen the same work arranged for a couple of other settings, including solo bayan and clarinet/piano:

Andrey Pavlovich PETROV
Waltz (from the film 'Beware of Automobiles'), for string quartet
Petrov, A. - Waltz, for string quartet.pdf

A quartet from one of France's more 'unsung' early modern composers. Delannoy worked alongside others such as Honegger, Ibert, Martinu, etc.. on the music for the 1937 Paris Exposition.

Thanks for that, Jim. Odd coincidence that those youtube videos surfaced just a few days ago. The user's channel also has some rare quartet recordings by Jacques Ibert and Florent Schmitt, the scores of which can be found at IMSLP. The Schmitt work is quite the excellent composition.
