Quintets without Piano

Post by HullandHellandHalifax »

Dear friends,
I have been asked to find a transcription for clarinet and piano of the Quintet K581 by Mozart which is for strings and clarinet. Does anyone have such a thing or know where I might find one. If all fails I will have to arrange the thing myself, not a pleasant prospect. I know of a version for 4h and clarinet or piano alone of the larghetto movement, but I need the whole thing.
all help gratefully appreciated
regards
Brian

There are a few transcriptions kicking around, but no scan of the full score yet as far as I am aware.

No one has posted them yet on the forum it seems. Do you know if one of the members has them, or where I might be able to find them?

Yup! nms tttos - I've posted the Wilhelm Rohm since it's easier than the August Stradal (as you might expect) which looks over-complicated for a transcription, but he probably misses nothing and the Rohm looks as though it's been simplified a little by comparison.
