Here's an interesting work by a composer who studied composition with Kabalevsky and taught a number of significant late-Soviet-era composers, including Elena Firsova, Alisher Latif-Zade, and Efrem Podgaits. Like his teacher, he wrote a number of widely-used pedagogical pieces. We've previously seen a handful of his piano works and some pieces for string quartet and string orchestra.

This work was published as a part of the book 'Vesennee Kongragentstvo Muz', which contains poems and paintings of the Russian Futurist Artists.
