Cavatine from Score for Poulenc Sonata for Cello and Piano

Post by cdales »

I'd be most grateful if some generous soul would share the score for the second movement (Cavatine) only of the Poulenc Sonata for Cello and Piano. We would consider purchasing the score if we were capable of playing the whole sonata, but I'm reluctant to spend over $70 for the chance to read through one brief movement :(

Here's the Youtube clip that seduced us: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V8zLlebx_M8

This is also almost impossible to find in libraries, and those that own it don't want to lend it through interlibrary loan.

Much thanks!

I am not entirely sure where this post belongs... first a general question: are there any modern scores of Gamba works by Marais Marin and St. Colombe? If anyone has a newer score of Marais' "Les Voix Humaines" (from book 2 of his pieces for viols) I would be very grateful. The old scores are nice but quite a pain to read!

Thanks,
Parag

Here are a few Cello Piano pieces that I have been looking forward to playing but haven't found the music yet.

Does anyone have the Vieuxtemps Grosse Sonata Op.36 arranged for cello and piano by Bockmühl? I believe the edition is Schuberth & Co.

Or the Richter, E. Fr. Op.15 Sonata for Cello and Piano (ed. Ries)?
