Hello Timtin,

the Cimirro transcription is good, but I don't like too....
Curious and interesting also the 52 piano version; but even this, don't like me much.....

Between all, I still prefer the eight piano transc. (but not much)

Strange that Liszt never wrote a transcript of this piece....
The 8 piano version is certainly very entertaining - I saw it played
live at The Royal Albert Hall in 1976, by a galaxy of famous pianists
including Claudio Arrau, Daniel Barenboim, Hephzibah Menuhin,
Jeremy Menuhin, Murray Perahia, Andre Previn, and Sir Georg Solti,
for a charity concert in aid of The Musicians Benevolent Fund,
if I remember correctly.

This 2 hand version, played by Oliver Poole, is also absolutely terrific:-

Hello Timtin,

many thanks for the YT link! The two hands transcription and performance of Olivier Poole is certainly the better that I've listen.
Is precisely the type of transcript that I seek.
I try to ask at Mr. Poole the score.....

If -can- (in all sense), I will post on PP...

If he had six arms then Bach's WTC should have been a breeze...

Hello everyone,
I used to be a more active member here a couple of years ago, but all the forum history was erased... so it looks like it's my first post.
My daughter's piano teacher is looking for the 1p 8h version of Lavignac's famous Marche Galop.
Can someone post it please?
Thanks in advance
Tom.
