Regarding the Sibley offering today, any idea why they restricted access to some of the Godowsky miniatures? Some I could download, but not the last 3 or 4. I couldn't access them even after logging in. I've never seen Sibley do this before.

No, I have no idea at all. They say the files are PD...

Just pointing out that the Miniatures volumes 1-3 (plus 120 pages from the unavailable part) are available from IMSLP and from my site.

The site below shows that a piano solo edition of 5 of Godowsky's Miniatures, including Humoresque, Rigaudon, The Miller's Song, Processional March and Arabian Chant (Orientale) was published by Carl Fischer (1918-1920):

I've done a quick look in the usual places and can't find them. Does anyone have these on hand or know where to get them? I'd especially like the Arabian Chant - just heard it on a Naxos recording and really like it.

Godowsky - 5 Miniatures - Pno Solo.pdf

Frank, thank you very much for the miniatures - you just saved me a trip to the library stacks. Playing a few of these will be a nice change from the blasted Sabre Dance, which is about to get me kicked out of the house (think about having to listen to that every day for a few months). Even the dogs pack their bags and head for the hills when I practice the Khachaturian now.

Glad to be of help, Passthesalt! I can't imagine what intensive study of the Sabre Dance is like, but definitely a little Godowsky should sooth the nerves and keep all the dogs at home as well!

Could someone please post the 4-hand version (on one piano only) of Ravel's Introduction and Allegro? I want to play this with my friend in a 4-hand concert. Thanks a lot in advance.
