Or parlour music. Marius Carman wrote an lot of easy pieces for piano, at the end of the XIXth Century, and operettas.

It certainly does. Eugène Nollet is quite a mystery. French or English ? He seems to have written lots of melodic parlour pieces, like this one, recorded by one of our members:

Hope it's the right thread for this rarity by Sudessi.
Couldn't find any informations about the composer, just that he wrote an orchetral work : "une journée à Capri" italian scenes.
