Thank you all for your comments regarding my posting of the two movements of Moszkowski's Concerto Op.59.

I bought the copy of this as I wondered if it would turn out to be the piece we were all looking for.
Like you, I am pleased that it turned out to be what I hoped it was. I had checked IMSLP and was rather surprised that it was not on there, as they have so much of his music on that site. So it was good to be able to make PP the first site (apparently) to have this music.

Best wishes to all.

Peter.

Anyone got MoszWV 71 Valse mignonne in G flat major? It's on Stephen Houghs "the piano album" by the way.

I am posting a link to the Moszkowski recordings page on imslp for people who might be interested in hearing the Midi of a peice before playing it.

I fear the MIDIs might get lost otherwise with their low profile. I have made Midis of among other works his Scherzo OP 1, Marchs der Zwerge (which I particularly like) and the Allegro Scherzando Op.20

I have not done much subtlety in the dynamics ...Feedback is welcome.

Was anyone present at the Moszkowski Op. 3 Piano Concerto premiere last night in Warsaw? Was there a broadcast of the performance? This website seems to imply it: http://szwarcman.blog.polityka.pl/2014/ ... 40-latach/

Yes, I was :-) The National Polish Radio recorded the performance for a later re-broadcast. I still need to work on the piece, as only had 3 weeks to prepare it before the concert Warsaw, due to the late arrival of the edited material of the manuscript score.

Best wishes,
Ludmil

Ludmil, you were the solo performer?! Amazing! I can't wait to hear this piece and hopefully take a look at the score in the future. I hope the radio broadcast can be recorded for more of us to get a chance to hear it.
