Thank you Alfred, for another nice edition--the Pauer seems quite serviceable.

Very nice to see K's edition of Au bord d'une source as this is one of my favorite Liszt pieces. Must confess I'm rather happy with the Siloti edition since he redistributes the notes between the hands making it much easier to play but still am looking forward to seeing what additional insights I can glean from K's edition as I have always discovered somthing new.

Very welcome indeed, Alfred. Thanks for posting.

"The Alexander Siloti Collection" which contains this piece is in print and under copyright.

I'm not aware of another Siloti edition of this piece which isn't under copyright.

Does anyone happens to have a digital copies of the three volumes???
Friedman in fact edited the majority of Liszt's works.
at least one more PP member evinces interest in these editions, I will upload a couple.
I am surprised NOT EVEN ONE SINGLE MORE PP member who are interested in Friedmann's Liszt editions (or for that matter, any other composers).

Could we have more please (pleading as in oliver twist).

I am re-posting this to request for more Friedman's edition for Liszt........ yes, we had the two piano concertos edited by Friedman, but certainly more of his edition for solo piano work would be most welcome.

I think Fleubis had already seconded the idea....

Yes, more Kreutzer edition would be welcome too....

Liszt - Sonata B minor (fingering)

Post by soh choon wee »

I would like to consult the opinion of the learned community, how you execute the two cadenza bar of the said sonata: Bar 204 and Bar 362.

There are lots of possibilities.... do you play with single hand, or do you re-distribute it??

Very important and I think very interessting!

does anyone have it, or know where are those volumes?

"Das Pianoforte" - 24 Häfte Stuttgart: Ed. Hallberger n.d.[1858]. Ausgewählte Sammlung älterer u. neuerer Original-Compositionen unter Redaction Franz Liszt.

in these 24 volumes are works by J.Wieniawski, Taubert, Rosenheim, Kaliwoda, Moniuszko, Bertini, Volkmann, Rubinstein, Schulhoff and others.
Liszt as editor.

IMSLP have only one piece by Volkmann...
