I found an arrangement of Rachmaninov's Romance Op.26/10 At My Window by the Russian pianist Oleg Pereverzev here: https://www.olegpereverzev.com/sheets

Among the free downloads are some compositions by Pereverzev and a transcription of La rosa y el sauce by Carlos Guastavino, a song described by Roger Vignoles as

a kind of cross between Rachmaninov’s Vocalise and Granados’s Maja and the Nightingale, is the real thing, a full-blown hit. There are some pieces of music that once heard are never forgotten, and this is one of them. A perfect encore piece, it was a favourite of the great Conchita Badía, who instituted the tradition (sanctioned in the score and followed by all singers ever since) of singing along wordlessly with the piano postlude.

For some reason all the downloads are image files embedded in Microsoft Word documents. Because the images also have margins, it is not ideal to convert directly to PDF. You have the choice of clicking on each embedded image and saving it as an image file (JPG/PNG) or to do a file in bulk, use the following trick. All of the Office .???x formats introduced in 2003 are actually zip files. If you change the extension to .ZIP then you can open them in your favourite ZIP tool and extract all the images in one go and then combine them in a PDF.

Hi there, new to the site but LOVE all the information and scores I've found here. Currently studying M. Gozenpud/Hasen. Anyone know if his 4th sonata was ever published?

There have been quite a number of his scores posted here over the years, so perhaps a judicious use of the search function may help you locate them. Having said that, the 4th piano sonata is not amongst them.

Our resident expert (amongst others ) Malcolm should know - and when he next logs in I'm sure he will let us know.

First, a warm welcome to the site - I hope you find it of interest and a good source for rare scores.

I have a fairly large collection of scores by Gozenpud, but alas not the 4th sonata (1947). The majority of his scores were published in Ukraine, and that often makes it difficult to find copies. At this stage not aware of it being published, but I will check when I get a moment to see if I can locate a copy and any possible publisher details.

A list of all his piano works can be found in the Literature section - a copy of my book 'Encyclopaedia of Soviet & Russian Piano Music'.

Re. Gozenpud- Piano Sonata No. 4 - I have searched all the major Russian and Ukrainian libraries, and no copies of the 4th sonata could be located. This would strongly suggest it remains in manuscript.
