I just discovered this fact, and the fact I found it very exciting shows just how big a nerd I am: Varvara Gaigerova gave the first performance of Grigory Krein's 2nd Piano Sonata (it's quite hard and huge) when she was still a student of Neuhaus at the Moscow Conservatoire, at a concert organised by the Society for Jewish Music, on 20 January 1926.

Has anyone posted Dmitri Kabalevsky Op. 14: From the Life of a Pioneer, pieces for piano (1931)? I can't seem to find it using the search function.

A rare piece i managed to find and made a scrolling score video on youtube for our delight. The piano sonata by Turkmen composer Ashir Kuliyev, performed by Orazgul Annamyradova. I was wondering though, if anybody might have some information on this pianist? Her information is so scarce, i can't even find her birthdate, not even sure if she is alive or not. Amazing pianist anyway!

Lutoslawski - she studied at the Moscow Conservatoire from 1976-1981, and seems to be undertaking concerts in 2018. If you search on the Russian version of her name it will throw up more listings:

оразгуль аннамурадова
