Hello
I'm looking for the Bagatelle op 1 n°3 by Valentin Silvestrov if not under copyright
Schott has some scores but couldn't find any piano music
Thanks

Beliaeff publishes Silvestrov's music. He's alive, by the way. Schott has some kind of distributor relationship with Beliaeff, who have published lots of Silvestrovs' piano music.

I have a general question about Arensky's Op. 65 - it is a suite in 8 movements, but - what does mean by a "Canon" at the "second," "third," "fourth," etc.? The score is on IMSLP. Any illumination would be appreciated.

8 movements

Praeludium. Kanon durch Verlängerung
Aria [Basso continuo]. Kanon in der Sekunde
Scherzino. Kanon in der Terz
Gavotte. Kanon in der Quarte
Elegia. Kanon in der Quinte
Romanze. Kanon in der Sexte
Intermezzo. Kanon in der Septime
Alla polacca. Kanon in der Oktave

Prelude : canon by augmentation --
Aria : canon at the second --
Scherzino : canon at the third --
Gavotte : canon at the fourth --
Elegie : canon at the fifth --
Romanze : canon at the sixth --
Intermezzo : canon at the seventh --
Alla polacca : canon at the octave.

I believe you will find interesting explanations regarding canons in reference to Bach Goldberg's variations.

FYI, I'm reasonably certain that Aperock pulls all of its scores off of the ale07.ru site where I've been finding most of my 'NMS' items.
