Re: Russian & Soviet Composers - Part 3

Caostotale posted a number of works in this series, and I hope to fill a few gaps over the next week or two. The Concert Pieces by Soviet Composers series ran to about 16 numbered volumes, but there were also a number of additional volumes depending on the publisher, location, date and/or editor. So you could have four Volume 6s, each with different works within them. For example, I have 5 different versions of Volumn 4 - and another one posted below !
All of these were new to me, so likely also new to members.
Translation of titles will be included with each volume.

Concert Pieces by Soviet Composers – Vol. 4 (Muzyka 1984)
1. Korchmar G – ‘Anagrams’ Four Dedication:
a. Preludio (Shostakovich & Eisler)
b. Intermezzo (Brahms & Schumann)
c. Gavotto (Haydn, Schubert & Bartok)
d. Capriccio (Berg, Schoenberg & Webern)
2. Prokofiev – Op 4 Four Pieces: Memories; Rush; Despair; Obsession
3. Soloviev D - Five Preludes from the set Twenty-five Preludes
All of these were new to me, so likely also new to members.
Translation of titles will be included with each volume.
