Has this Etude in C minor by Desiderius Zadora ever surfaced?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b1CjFzzUisQ

Here's a link to a bio in Russian:
https://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D0%97%D0 ... 0%B8%D1%87

Thanks.

EDIT

Found it. There's a piano competition named after the composer here:
http://www.muzdepartament.uz.ua/article ... iya-zadora

One of his piano pieces is a requirement. They provided pdfs of the Etude (in MS) and the Piano Sonata which can be found below. There are also low res pngs of the published version of the Etude which I compiled into a pdf.

I hadn't heard of this Croatian composer before - Blagoje Bersa (1873–1934). I need to get out more often.

A recording project here.

A number of lo-res JPGs of (piano and other) manuscripts start here.

There are a number of recordings on YouTube. The Nocturne, Op.38 is quite nice...

...as is Mélancolie, Op.76
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ckoxFVGRlhE

Here are PDFs of Mélancolie and the Nocturne. I resampled the JPGs up bit with a minor improvement. Still not great.

Mélancolie, Op.76 (MS) larger.pdf
There has to be a published edition of some of his music - any info on same please share with us.

Here's a nice cache of (so-so quality) scans of piano works by Moldavian composer Alexei Stârcea. There are also a few YouTube links as well.

The owner of the site indicates intention to add scores of other Moldavian composers as well.

I have added an updated version of my Encyclopaedia of Russian & Soviet Piano Music in the Literature section of this website, but have also added them to this thread. The latest update has a very major update of Latvian, Estonian and Lithuanian composers, plus many additions in Ukrainian and Russian composers (i have added over 500 additional short biographies and increased details on work lists). As I have stated many times this will remain a lifetime project !

I also plan over the next couple of weeks to post a number of works by Tatar composers, which were discovered on a website by a friend and fellow member of Pianophilia, and to make it easier for everyone I have downloaded all works and changed all titles to English. All these works will either be for piano solo or Two Pianos (lots of transcriptions). The quality of the scans vary considerably from quite poor (but readable) to very good. But as many of these composers are relatively rare, it is good to have so many scores available. In a number of cases there may be several movements to a work and hence by using the Encyclopaedia, you can see the English translation of said movements.

The first of the Tatar composers: Rafael Nurievich Belyalov (1940-1999). With all the composers I plan to post there are bios and work-lists in the Encyclopaedia.

Note: His Suite for Two Pianos is in the Two Piano thread.

Our next Tatar composer: Renat Akhmetovich Yenikeyev [Enikeev] (1937 - ). Good selection here, although quality varies. The full sonata was posted previously by Alfor. A Two Piano work is also available also under that thread.
