...and another of these. Unfortunately, vol. 11 from 1983 is not available. It's definitely interesting to see the strong focus on ethnomusicology in full force with this volume. We've seen a few Nazarova-Metner works before, including a sonata that was similarly fashioned after Vietnamese folk materials. I might be mistaken on the bio for Zuckerman:

Children's Pieces by Soviet Composers, for piano - Senior Class, vol. 12 (1984)

Mikhail Rafailovich RAUKHVERGER (Kyrgyzstan) - Pieces (4); 1. Game, 2. Nocturne, 3. Major and Minor, 4. Tarantella (bio at http://translate.google.com/translate?h ... bih%3D1059 )
Hachatur MARTIROSYAN (MARTIROSIAN) (Armenia) - Pieces (3); 1. Lulluby, 2. Sun and Rain, 3. Round Dance (bio at http://translate.google.com/translate?h ... bih%3D1059 )
Viktor Abramovich TSUKKERMAN (ZUCKERMAN) - Pieces (2); 1. Slow Scherzo, 2. Ya-Kvarta! (bio at http://translate.google.com/translate?h ... 587&anno=2 )
I. MALYSHEVA - Pieces (3); 1. Mazurka, 2. Mirage, 3. Joke
Alexander Georgyevich POPOV - Etude-Dance
Zhanna Vasilyevna PLIYEVA (PLIEVA) (Ossetia) - Preludes (2)
Mikhail Grigoryevich BURSHTIN (Kyrgyzstan) - Dungan Dances (2) (based on melodies recorded by B. Bayahunovym); 1. Lyuchin (Female Dance), 2. Babyr (Male Dance) (info on the Dungan people - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dungan_people )
Grigory Solomonovich ZINGER - Pieces (2); 1. Gallop, 2. Sentimental Waltz
Tatyana Borisovna NAZAROVA-METNER - Vietnamese Notebook, Pieces (6); 1. Morning, 2. The Ancient People, 3. Bell Dance, 4. Dancing Children, 5. Cave with Stone Bells, 6. Dancing Boys (no bio available)

Caostotale:

Thank you so much for all these albums; there are 2 volumes posted as number 12 in this thread( pages 112 and 115); I believe that one is for young and the other for senior pianists, is this correct or are different collections?

They are two completely different collections from two different publication series, though both were published by the state publishers. The one on page 112 is the twelfth volume in an annual series that compiled 'Children's Albums' by Soviet composers. Another volume from this series (number 5, also starting with a set of Armenian pieces by Aristakesyan) was shared previously. Others may possibly show up in time. These were generally somewhat substantial 'cycles' of small works/miniatures and indeed some number up to a dozen distinct movements. The title page states that the pieces are for 'juniors, middle, and senior pianists at music schools', so it's up to the teacher/player to decide what level the works are! This disclaimer applies for any of the volumes in the 'Young Pianist's Library' series, a massive collection of sets that has volumes dedicated to different nationalities, individual composers, etc...

On the other hand, the collection above (on page 115) is the twelfth in an annual series of books containing specifically-graded pieces to be used for teaching senior-class students in Soviet music schools (I made sure to specify which grade in the file names). There are also two other 'volume 12's for the junior and middle levels, but I don't have those. The volumes in these graded series consist mostly of stand-alone pieces or smaller sets of pieces (usually sets of 2-4 pieces per featured composer).

I've been reasonably confused about the numbering methods that apply to a lot of the Soviet publications I've seen (especially the 'Concert Piece' volumes for professional players, which seemed to reboot their volume numbering system every few years), but these sets of children's works are pretty straightforward by comparison.

...and now here's the first in a series of volumes of yet another completely different series that was first published during the 1980s, focusing on 'pieces by modern composers' that young performers could learn. In addition to the somewhat commonly-available works by Prokofiev and Kabalevsky, we've previously seen the two pieces by Budnitsky in a Young Pianist's Library edition dedicated to that composer's work:

Piano Music for Children and Young Adults - Pieces by Modern Composers, vol. 2 (1982)

Sergei Sergeyevich PROKOFIEV - Waltz (no. 6 from 'Music for Children, op. 65')
Dmitri Borisovich KABALEVSKY - Dance (no. 27 from 'Thirty Children Pieces, op. 27')
Otar Vasilyevich TAKTAKISHVILI (Georgia) - Children's Pieces (6); 1. Ditty, 2. March, 3. Zagadochka, 4. The Rain has Stopped, 5. Casket, 6. Waltz
Tomas Iosifovich KORGANOV (Armenia) - Of the Family Home (bio at http://translate.google.com/translate?h ... %25D1%2587 )
Anatoly Vasilyevich SAMONOV - Partita; 1. Prelude, 2. Allemande, 3. Courante, 4. Sarabande, 5. Menuet, 6. Gigue
Oleg ZVONAREV - Pribautka (Byword)
A. ZAVALOV - Fairy Tale (Skazka) (no bio available)
Areg Akopovich LUSINYAN (LUSINIAN) (Armenia) - Pieces (2); 1. Clock, 2. Spinning Top
Viktor ZYUZIN (Ukraine) - Pieces (2) from the cycle 'Pictures at the Zoo'; 1. Bear Family, 2. The Cunning Fox (no bio available)
T. KHOKHLOVA - Pieces (2); 1. Gift, 2. Evening (no bio available)
Boris Ilich BUDNITSKY - Pieces (2); 1. Wind-Up Toy (Etude), 2. Ballet Scene (no bio available)
Alexander Alexandrovich KOBLYAKOV - Allegro (bio at http://translate.google.com/translate?h ... bih%3D1026 )
M. TERTERYAN (TERTERIAN) (Armenia?) - Polyphonic Pieces (2)
Anatoly Nikolayevich MYNOV (Tatarstan) - Elegiac Poem
Anatoly Nikolayevich MYNOV (Tatarstan) - Pieces (2); 1. Melody, 2. Waltz
