Wow! A lot to sort through with this huge post, Malcolm. Just started with the Lourie piece which I don't recall seeing before and it is most interesting. Thanks for sharing these very interesting scores!

To my dear old (young) friend J. fleubis:

Now I have fingered all 9 Prokofieff Sonatas!

Sergei S. PROKOFIEFF (PROKOFIEV)
Sonata No. 1 op. 1

alfor fingered (based on the G. Sandor edition)

Congratulations, Alfred, on completing this complex task. All NINE! This sonata I've never heard in concert so was glad to have a chance to play through it with good fingering --quite unlike my knuckle-busting fingering that normally occurs when sight reading. It's hard to believe this is the same composer as the 9th sonata, but such is early Prokofief.

Perhaps you can start a project on Scriabine

(PS - i seems not to be able to find ALFOR's prokofieff sonatas #5,and 7 --- and not able to search them)

Dear soh choon wee,

there are well-fingered editions of the SCRIABIN Sonatas and some other works
by Peters, Henle and Zen-On.

All best

No.7 ? Yup, that's the one we all play. I will be most interested to see what you do with the Toccata, Alfred.

I DID already post an alfor fingered version of No. 7!
But there was the need to revise the fingering at some spots.
