Seeking the three transcriptions from "The Tamer Tamed" and Dance from the three pieces composed around 1939. (Not the Dance from the Piano Suite) We already have the Waltz and Scherzo courtesy of Malcolm. As always, another scores welcome. Thanks.

Olga Solovieva's first disc of GG's piano music can be found here:

Not my scans, but hopefully this fills the gap.

Agreed. The Gavotte reminds me very much of 'Thumbelina' from Hans Christian Andersen. Coincidence?

And my final Tatar composer, and a personal favourite: Rustem Mukhamet-Khazeyevich Yakhin (1921-1993)

The suite 'Summer Evenings' had some gaps but managed to fill these by searching across the internet (hence why I've posted each movement separately). A version of the Valse-Impromptu has been posted previously.

There is also a version of the Meditation in the Two Piano thread, and a number of songs I found during my search on-line (Vocal thread).

Following my exploration of Tatar composers, I've started another project on Kazakh composers, and will post / share various scores (many shared by the composers themselves on their own sites). As most of these composers do not have biographies in my 'book' I shall add brief bios with each composer.

Malcolm

Bakir Yahiyanovich Bayakhunov. Born 1933, Alma-Ata, Kazakhstan. Kazakh / Dungan composer. Honoured Art Worker of the Kazakh SSR (1983), People’s Artist of the Kazakh SSR (1990).

Originally studied at the Leningrad Mining Institute, but became interested in music and was encouraged to study. Graduated in 1960 from Alma-Ata Conservatoire after studies with Kuzhamyarov. From 1960-63 he further studied composition at the Moscow Conservatoire under Chulaki, and Polyphony with Skrebkov and Protopopov.

Since 1963-69 he has taught music theory at the Alma-Ata Conservatoire, and from 1969 composition (in 1983 as assistant professor and 1991 as full professor).

There are two versions of his Concert Piece 'Yskyrma' - the original, and a later revised version: I have uploaded both.

Dear Friend:

Thank you very much for these scores, each one is a surprise to me.

These composers allow us to know other forms of composition, harmonies and of course that enrich us in sensitivity and knowledge.

The next Kazakh composer.

Alibi Kutymbetovich Abdinurov. Born 1978. Kazakh composer. Brother to Serikzhan.

Graduate of the Kazakh National Conservatoire under Sagatov. In the same year, 2001, Abdinurov entered the assistance internship, studying composition with Sagatov. Has won numerous awards and diplomas for his compositions.

Since 2003, Abdinurov has been a member of the Union of Composers of Kazakhstan, and a teacher of the Department of Composition and Orchestral Conducting of the Kazakh National Conservatoire.

Please note - although composer is still alive, he himself shared his scores on-line.........all I've done is download and converted from Kazakh to English. As with the Tatar scores, some of these vary from poor scans to very good. But all quite rare and difficult to locate !

My next Kazakh composer is the elder brother: Serikzhan Kutymbetovich Abdinurov. Born 1962, Shymkent. Kazhak composer and teacher. Brother to Alibi.

He graduated from the Kazakh National Conservatoire in 1990. Amd then completed an assistant internship in 1992 in composition with Kuzhamyarov.

Noted composer of Kazhak vocal and symphonic music.

And don't be fooled by the titles.............not necessarily for children.........look at You're Not, for example !
