Some new typesets of music by Sabitov from the 'IX International Nariman Sabitov Competition of Musicians'. We have published versions of most of the piano works they offer courtesy of Alfor and Chaos but I don't think we have all 7 of the Bashkir Folk Tunes. There are also some songs and violin pieces to be had. Scroll down almost to the bottom of the page.

I found these whilst searching for the 4 Preludes, Op.18. Anyone with a copy to share?

Excellent - thank you Jim, and have duly downloaded everything. Nice to have them in a new typeset format.

Out of curiousity - where did you find mention of the Op 18 preludes ?

I haven't found them yet but there's always hope. I think I saw reference to the opus number in a YouTube video.

----- EDIT-----it was actually this page

https://urok.1sept.ru/%D1%81%D1%82%D0%B ... B8/566516/

The link appears funky due to the Cyrillic characters.

The opus number is shown in two of the excerpts but not indicated in the list of selected works given.

Brilliant - many thanks Jim, that was very interesting and gave me not only more information on Sabitov but also the other two Bashkir composers, especially Kasimov.
