Good.....six more volumes from the Concert Pieces series still to be posted.


Vadim Borisovich Yushin. Born 1957, Ulan-Ude.

Studied at the city’s music school, where he graduated as a pianist. During this period he won a competition for young composers of Siberia and Far East. He then studied composition at the Ural Conservatoire, in Sverdlovsk. Whilst a student at the conservatoire he composed works for theatre – 'Twelve Months' and ‘Roman and Yulka’ , which were duly performed.

He served in the Song and Dance Ensemble of the Trans-Baikal Military District. In Buryatia, he taught at a local music school, and was director of the Philharmonic Society. He later moved to Moscow in 1997, where there were greater opportunity. Employed as an accompanist and arranger of the ‘Russian Song’ ensemble. Member of the Russian Union of Composers.
