Malcolm
My pleasure, it's been a fascinating exercise, and a way to be "at the piano" while resting from some tendonitis in my arms.

I have similarly now typeset all the piano music (including songs) that I could find of

Alexander TSFASMAN https://musescore.com/artist/alexander_tsfasman-275506
Mikaél TARIVERDIEV https://musescore.com/artist/mikael_tariverdiev-23490

and all piano music plus many many songs of
Arno BABAJANYAN https://musescore.com/artist/arno_babajanyan-269868
(he wrote music for about 250 songs, and I've covered what I believe to be the most famous)

Plus a miscellany by
Artur POLONSKY https://musescore.com/artist/artur_polonsky-295790 (his arrangements may be found too)
Yuri SLONOV https://musescore.com/artist/yuri_slonov-273468 (A big thank you to Gamma for alerting me to Slonov as I was ploughing through the various Russian/Soviet online archives).
Isaak DUNAYEVSKY https://musescore.com/artist/isaak_osip ... evsky-6892

Other special interest collections that I've touched on are found as "sets": https://musescore.com/user/4151271/sets
e.g.
Babajanyan songs
Folk music of the Caucasus
Ignaz Friedman transcriptions
Mariya Sagradova transcriptions
Russian/Soviet film and tv
Soviet era dance music
Tariverdiev - Seventeen Moments of Spring (the 1973 Soviet TV series)
Tsfasman Concert works

* Note other people have contributed Tariverdiev and Babajanyan scores and arrangements. You may find other scores by the above composers on Musescore, but linked to different versions of their names. At this time, musescore does not have a composer index to link translations to canonical names.

Quite amazing bingo, much to to explore and thank you for your wonderful efforts in promoting these Russian composers.

Nikolai Rakov - we've shared a number of his scores across the years, here is his Sonata in a Classical Style.

Thanks, Malcolm. It seem like years since I played any Rakov. Something new for my piano today.

I couldn't find this collection in previous threads, and although all of the contents appear to be IMSLP,I thought that a translated index would be useful for anyone who encountered it in the wild.

Number 69 is translated incorrectly. It's supposed to be something like "Don't keep me waiting, Darling".

Alfor uploaded this file in 2010, and requested a translation of the opening text.
----
Isaak DUNAYEVSKY (1900-1955, specialized in light music)
"Return" choreographic miniatures (piano reduction of a ballet score??? Please help deciphering the text of the first few pages.)
Dunayevsky Return.pdf
---

I uploaded the first 6pp to pdf2go.com to OCR the Russian text, and then ran the output through Google translate, with a few tweaks.
DUNAYEVSKY Return (1946).pdf
The most interesting translated sections I have inserted into the document. Sections on costumes, hairpieces etc have simply been indicated with translated headings.

In summary:

"RETURN"
Choreographic miniature script
Production: N. S. Kholfin
Music: I.O. Dunaevsky
Recording: V.E. Likhacheva

The lieutenant returns from the front. He is among the passengers on the platform of the Moscow railway station.
Porters are boarding the carriage. Locomotive whistle. The train is leaving. ...

Arrival of the train to its destination. Passengers, saying goodbye to each other, disperse. Lieutenant lingers on the platform. He is at his home station, a premonition of a meeting with a beloved girl.

A switch-girl comes out of the railway booth, she is waiting her beloved to return from the front. Meeting and the joy of a date. His friends learn about the lieutenant's arrival. They come to meet him, greet and congratulate him on the victory, etc. returning home.

General jubilation and fun.

An early Alexander Tsfasman work Tsyganskaia Vengerka - Hungarian Gypsy (1927) , a czardas contemporaneous with his early jazz piece Savoy Blues.

I found it as just-readable scans at Columbia University Library, https://dlc.library.columbia.edu/catalo ... 83bk3jr2as part of a larger collection of Russian and Early Soviet sheet music(1904-1938): https://dlc.library.columbia.edu/russian_sheet_music

I've reset it, hopefully without missing (too many) accidentals or articulations:
