Tony:

I can not download the Silvanki's, I would appreciate if you can post it here.

Does anybody know if this concert has been recorded?

Thanks.

Ilu.

Wonderful little Silvanski concerto. Seems the Russians have quite a few concertos for youth.

In the States, opportunities to perform concertos such as this are very rare. Usually the only time we'll hear youth playing with an orchestra is if he/she is a child prodigy--in which case they're usually performing standard repertoire.

I am not sure if they have recorded
As what i know on recordings of Youth Concertos, are , Obviously Kabalevsky's 3rd Piano Concerto...Taktakishvili's Piano Concerto No.3 (on youtube)... Balanchivadze's Piano Concerto No.3 (Also on Youtube, and live)...Znatokov's Youth PC...I dont know if Rakov's Concerto can be considered Youth, but hes 1st and 2nd PC's has been Recorded Also, With Nasedkin (PNO).
The other concertos, i have until now, has only been performed on two pianos, which are... Berkovich PC 2, Silvanski PC, and Vogler PC.
On the other note, i would love to know how many Concertos did Silvanski Wrote. Alfor has already posted a particular PC 3. Does this Youth pc belongs to a op.no?

Tony......you've only got to check my "book" in the Information section. Silvansky compose 7 piano concertos and I assume the "Youth" concerto we now have is the one listed separately as Petit Piano Concerto for Youth.
