From the 19th century lyrical romanticism of Tereshchenko, to the 20th century.

Aleksandr Ukrainsky – unfortunately, I can discover no biographical information on this composer. I have posted his Fantasie “O Russia, With Love and Agony” which includes a song by Rachmaninov [from Op 21] weaved within the score [please note this is a manuscript score and not a standard printed score].

Yaroslav Vereshchagin. Born 1948, Kyiv: died 1999, Kyiv. Ukrainian composer and music editor. Graduated in 1973 from the Kyiv Conservatoire after studiying composition with Skoryk. Worked as chief editor of the publishing house Muzychna Ukraina. He was laureate of the Ostrovsky Prize in 1980, and was secretary of the Union of Ukrainian Composers.

I have posted an album of his piano works [with due permission]:

Piano Sonata No. 2

Sonatina [apologies, some heavy shading in left hand bottom corner...but all subsequent pages are fine].

Little Classical Suite [a. Allemande b. Courante c. Sarabande d. Menuet I e. Menuet II f. Gigue]

Musica Rustica

Six Bagatelles

Thank you Alfor for the Arensky.

As mentioned back when I did Nikolai Tcherepnine - his ballet "Le Masque de la Mort Rouge" is now available through Sibley.

I would like to bring up the subject of Yevgeni Golubev. We have recently been treated to his 3 piano concertos and the 1954 3rd concerto is especially nice.

Am wondering if any of his 10 piano sonatas have surfaced. I am especially interested in the score for his 1942 Piano Sonata Nr. 4. I suspect many of his works are under some kind of copyright as he lived until 1988.
