Dear all

I am trying to access the complete piano music of Emile-Robert Blanchet, but I need some help with this:

Apart from the scores that are on IMSLP and that have been shared on PP, if I wanted to access Blanchet's complete piano works, where would I be able to do this?
I imagine one of the libraries in Switzerland, but that's all my limited resources tell me.

Can anyone else be more specific?

Thanks

Robert Freund (1852-1936)

Post by Jim Faston »

I've just been listening to a recording by Andrew Zolinsky of the beautiful Notturno Op2 by Robert Freund (1852-1936). Has a scan of this (or any other of his piano music) ever appeared? A quick look though Worldcat shows the following three entries, mostly held in Swiss libraries. Thanks much.

Sechs Präludien für das Pianoforte, op. 1 (Breitkopf & Härtel, 1887)
Notturno für das Pianoforte, op. 2 (Breitkopf & Härtel, 1888 )
Zwei Impromptus für das Pianoforte, op. 3 (Breitkopf & Härtel, 1888 )

Does anyone have a copy of the Piano Sonata by Jean Bartholoni please?
According to Worldcat, the BNF is the only library which has it:-

http://www.worldcat.org/identities/lccn-nr99-14466

Unfortunately, the score which they've made available online seems
to be incomplete. This is the link:-

Is there a way to contact them to see if they could correct it?

Hi Jim - thank you for your suggestion. I've had another look at
the BnF site, and this seems to be a possible way of doing it.
However, I'm sceptical as to whether they'd correct the problem!
(Other issues I moan about regarding on-line scores tend not to
result in the hoped-for results.)
Regards, Tim.

This etude has recently appeared on Gallica:

Charles Samuel Bovy-Lysberg: Etude pour le main gauche seule, Op. 20:
http://gallica.bnf.fr/ark:/12148/btv1b5 ... .r=.langFR

Any hints of Alkan's work here?
