Only a lonely little piece of the set. Not much but may be a start ...

as a collector of Lange, would anyone be able to pull this one off of Polona?

https://polona.pl/item/barcarolle-schif ... o:metadata

Lange, Gustav - Op. 61 - Barcarolle - Schifferstandchen (The Boatmen)

going to try to investigate other scores that are posted there, "new" to us, and not yet migrated to IMSLP.

I saw our dear Phillip perform the Charles Godard (Franz Behr) Op. 84 Valse Episodique….

I happen to see in this Presser 'Etude,' (Volume 17 No. 04) April 1899....

Charles Godard Op. 83 - Pensee ! This piece is not even listed on the IMSLP page (I would update it, but don't know how...)

The Berlin catalogue gives it the title Pensee-Intermede.

Behr, Franz (as Charles Godard) - Op. 83 - Pensee (-Intermede)
Behr, Franz (as Charled Godard)-Op. 83-Pensee (-Intermede) (Page 01).pdf
Behr, Franz (as Charled Godard)-Op. 83-Pensee (-Intermede) (Page 02).pdf
Behr, Franz (as Charled Godard)-Op. 83-Pensee (-Intermede) (Page 03).pdf
*Edit: forgive my excitement, I mistitled the piece, but it is corrected now!

Nice find - many thanks. Here's a concatenated file that I cleaned up a bit. Chuck a copy on your hard drive if you think you can bear it.

Wow, what a restoration ! Thank you!

Seeing people turn to music during these times has been encouraging. Also reminds me that this music needs to be shared and played!

Will have some time to post some more nuggets, given the circumstances.

I hope that all members of PP are and continue to stay well !

There was a little discussion on IMSLP about initiating a project to extract and upload all of the scores from the Etude magazines. Hopefully it will happen.

I'm currently looking through all the volumes and downlad the images via the viewer resp. where not available download the entire pdf. This alone takes days. There are countless interesting pieces.... HP
