Very nice find, Scriabinoff. I quite enjoyed the Adagio and Rondo.

glad you liked and you're welcome. they're not giant masterpieces that's for sure, but the hallmarks are there and they are charming.

a dear friend and fabulous pianist remarked to me recently how similar he found the theme and variations to the Beethoven 7th's 2nd movement. I have that on my list of compare and contrast listening to do 8-)

Dear friends,

thanks a lot for so highly interesting posts.
I´m looking for not a rare piece but quite difficult to find the score. The request is about Joseph Haydn Piano Concertos.
There are just five of them available in IMSLP.

Hope some pianophiliac may help.

All the best!

Also here are some links for who wants to hear his music:

Thank you!
I have long had an interest in Wellesz, so I thought I might be so bold as to share a couple more links (even though they are my own performances). Here are three songs from his serial, yet tonally inflected, "Lieder aus Wien, Op. 87" (in Viennese dialect) as sung by me as a college student in the mid-1970s. https://soundcloud.com/steve-norquist/e ... wien-op-82.

And here is my run through of a little piano piece from his (rather French) Op. 9 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VjVp7BW7Gww

Felix Weingartner (1863-1942) wrote some very attractive music, including
7 symphonies, although he's perhaps best remembered for his pre-Newbould
performing version of Schubert's Symphony No.7 in E major.

If anyone has any of the following piano works by him, it would be great
to see them, thank you. (The only other piano works he composed, his
Opp.2 & 4, are already available at the IMSLP).

Op.1 - Skizzen f. Pfte. (Praeludium, Mazurka, Frage, Scherzo, Impromptu, Fughette, Ende vom Lied.) (Schuberth, 1880),
Op.3 - Aus vergangener Zeit. Ein Cyklus v. sechs Klavierstücken. (Schuberth, 1881),
Op.5 - An Marie: Phantasiebilder f. Pfte. (Voigt, 1882),
Op.58 - Herbstblätter: 5 Klavierstücke. (Breitkopf und Härtel, 1916).

Hi Talla

It seems nobody has responded to this. As a first go, I always check Worldcat.org if there's a work I can't find. This catalog is often complemented by the Karlsruhe Virtual Catalog. Try those for a start.
